About Patrick Walsh

I am Qualified Chartered Accountant with a comprehensive history of high performance and 5 years experience in both Practice and Industry. Worked for Deloitte for three and half years where I worked in a number of different roles ranging from Assistant Manager in the UK and Audit Senior in Miami. All of which I was fortunate to experience working on large sector leading clients with revenues from $1m to $11.5bn. I have a strong industry experience with working with BlueScope Steel in Melbourne, it is one of the largest players in the world in the production and manufacturing of Steel products. My role was a Senior Group Accountant and Financial Analyst. I was responsible for the monthly P&L and Balance sheet analytics and for the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations on a monthly basis. I was also part of the Project Team being in charge with the implementation of the new Hyperion upgrade throughout the company. These experiences were all conducted on Hyperion and Oracle accounting systems. In addition to my industry experience, I worked in the world’s largest Pharmaceutical company, Pfizer’s, where my role was a Senior Group Accountant and Financial Analyst. I was solely responsible for the creation of a Consolidation Template which is currently being used by Pfizer in the Swedish Consolidation. I was also involved with the Balance sheet analytics of over 350 entities which were completed on Hyperion and SAP accounting systems which enabled to gain a thorough knowledge of both systems from my extensive use.
