About Patrick Weber

In my twenty-five years of field plot research, I completed protocol plot establishment, planted corn plots, operated research farm equipment, calculated, measured and mixed insecticides in lab and field, applied treatments, evaluated efficacy, phytotoxicity and harvested field studies. I collected, compiled, entered and analyzed field plot research study data using SAS. I interviewed, hired, supervised and trained over 50 undergraduate student workers In addition, I worked in lab using instruments and calibrating equipment using basic laboratory techniques. I initiated and completed Goldsheet contracts through the Office of Sponsored Programs for gift funding from agricultural companies for contract research. I have the following skill set of having excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Also, I have great numerical and organizational skills in overseeing multiple projects at one time. Close attention to detail is another skill from my work experiences. I possess an outgoing and friendly personality to people and able to problem solve. I’m proficient in working with many software programs including all Microsoft Office programs and others. Also, I have worked effectively within teams and alone in my past work experiences.
