About Patrick Weide

Patrick is a public sector governance professional, with 30 years of experience in international development and foreign policy research. He brings specific expertise in financial sector development, public financial management, and economic policy reform and implementation, leading and supporting a broad range of technical assistance programs for a variety of donor organizations. For the past 25 years, Patrick has served in management and technical delivery roles across a broad range of economic reform programs, with deep knowledge of economic growth and governance subjects, fiscal/public financial management, sustainable, inclusive finance, renewable energy and low carbon development, and infrastructure planning and financing. Complementing his technical strengths, Patrick has led the design and execution of innovative knowledge building and human and institutional capacity development initiatives, recognized for effective integration of core cross-cutting themes around gender programming, strategic communications, youth outreach, stakeholder engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
