About Patrick Weiler

Experienced in leading, transforming, and growing global businesses in technology, risk management, and structured finance, I am the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of IFS Europe Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of Munich Re Group. IFS Europe Holding GmbH operates IoT Financing Services, a unique venture that develops and executes the global IoT strategy of Munich Re by offering IoT-based financial products, backed by performance covers, in particular, Equipment-as-a-Service. My role is to establish and oversee the people, entities, systems, and processes that enable this innovative business model and manage the P&L, funding, business development, infrastructure, and corporate reporting. I work with a highly skilled team of business strategists, engineers, and financial services professionals, who leverage the experience and financial power of our parent companies Munich Re and HSB, and the technological expertise of our partner relayr. Together, we help industrial customers and service providers drive new business models and growth opportunities through a combination of digitalization and IoT, risk management, and structured finance. My mission is to create value for our clients, partners, and shareholders by delivering IoT-based financial solutions that are tailored, scalable, and sustainable.
