About Patrick Weiss

I began my journey at Witron as a Software Developer in September During this time, I developed strong programming skills in Node.js, C#, PL/SQL, C++, and C. I spent almost 8 years in the USA, supporting customer installations, developing change requests, and optimizing software to meet client needs. In October 2016, I transitioned to the role of IT Project Manager. In this position, I plan, execute, and deliver IT projects. I coordinate teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure projects are completed successfully. My responsibilities include defining project goals, creating detailed plans, managing resources, and communicating with team members and stakeholders. I track progress, handle changes, and solve problems as they arise. Additionally, I mentor and motivate my team to achieve our goals. From 2021 to 2024, I relocated to Australia to oversee the successful completion of two automated warehouses in an ambient environment. Notably, this project includes the largest ambient warehouse Witron has built so far (2024) in a single temperature zone, showcasing my ability to manage complex logistics and implement innovative solutions. Although I have advanced to an IT Project Manager role, I continue to have a keen interest in development. I enjoy working on personal projects, such as creating tools for my smart home environment. I thrive on using technology to solve problems and improve efficiency. My extensive experience has given me a strong understanding of both software development and project management, and I enjoy leading teams to success.
