About Patrick Wester

I am an experienced board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed to practice in California, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. I currently practice at Stella Mental Health (formerly Bespoke Treatment) in Los Angeles, California—a general and interventional psychiatry clinic specializing in the treatment of mood disorders. In this role, I provide psychotropic medication management, psychotherapy, and administer interventional treatments including IV ketamine, Spravato (esketamine), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).Prior to becoming a PMHNP, I worked as a registered nurse in emergency, trauma, and psychiatric emergency care across New Jersey and California since 2016. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fordham University, where I contributed to research on non-suicidal self-injury in the Mood and Behavior Lab. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University, where I received Nursing Excellence Awards in both Psychiatric Nursing and Nursing Research.During my Master’s program in Advanced Nursing Practice, I completed a year-long clinical internship at Ship to Shore Counseling, an outpatient psychiatric practice serving patients across the lifespan. There, I conducted comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provided ongoing psychotropic medication management, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT).I am an active member of both the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Society of Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses. With clinical expertise in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, I am a compassionate and dedicated provider committed to helping patients achieve meaningful outcomes. My professional interests include psychedelic medicine, treatment-resistant depression, neuromodulation, and addiction psychiatry.
