About Patrick Wilson

Hi there! I'm Patrick Wilson, and I am lucky enough to do what I love: design compelling content and create slick animations. I've worked professionally as a designer since I was in high school, where I first found my passion for creating while working on a 5-color Comco Cadet flexographic printing press. To this day, as a Graphic Designer and Motion Designer, few things compare to the feeling of turning an idea into something tangible. Nowadays, I primarily work with the Adobe Creative Suite. I use After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema4D to create the majority of my client work. I have a strong understanding of print and digital pipelines and have worked as a designer for several in-house and agency teams. I have extensive experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, layout composition, VFX, brand development, marketing communication, advertising, and information design. I am also currently developing my skills in 3D modeling and 3D animation. Additionally, I have skills in photography and videography which have made me well-suited for content creation. I have been lauded by previous management and colleagues for my professionalism, creativity, ability to receive and provide constructive criticism, ability to work under tight deadlines, and for my attention to detail. Though I have experience in technology and broadcast news, I am open to opportunities in most industries. I have a strong preference for companies in the following areas: renewable energy, sustainability, environmental justice, public transportation, racial equity, social justice, outdoor recreation, and emerging technology.
