About Patrick Wong

As a Senior Manager at EY's Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice, I support financial institutions with technical accounting, sustainable finance, regulatory compliance, and processes and internal control matters. During my 17 years of experience with a public and private background, I have led diverse teams through multiyear and cross-functional accounting change and finance transformation projects, which have included assisting financial institutions adopt new accounting standards, navigate complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, audit readiness issues, as well as enhance financial reporting policies, procedures, governance and control frameworks. Moreover, I specialize in supporting my clients with sustainable finance, which include materiality assessments, regulatory compliance, and external disclosures. Outside of my professional experience, I am passionate traveler who enjoys nature, especially hiking National Parks, experiencing different cultures, and seeking out the best coffee and food in each destination. I am a Certified Public Accountant in New York and District of Columbia. I am a proud alumni of Binghamton University, graduating with both a bachelors degree and MBA.
