Patrick J. Yuran is an educator, author, entrepreneur, and leadership speaker whose work centers on one core belief: leadership is about influence, clarity, and purpose. With over 25 years of experience across education, organizational leadership, and creative development. Patrick has dedicated his career to guiding people and organizations through change with empathy, emotional intelligence, and purposeful decision-making. Patrick currently serves as the Head of School at Oak Mountain Academy, where he has led a transformative evolution in teaching, learning, and school culture. Under his leadership, The Academy is the showcase for The Nova Discovery Experience™, a framework created by Patrick that emphasizes strategic thinking, collaboration, adaptability, self-awareness, and relationship-centered learning. Patrick began his career in the performing arts, where storytelling, presence, collaboration, and trust shaped his understanding of leadership, before transitioning into education and serving in both public and private schools. Beyond education, he is the founder and Artistic Director of The REAL Theatre, owner of PJ Productions, PM Retreat Properties, and PJY Consulting. While these ventures span multiple industries, Patrick often says he only does one thing: he leads people on journeys of discovery by building confidence, fostering curiosity, and helping individuals recognize their capacity to grow. Patrick is the author of Holding On & Letting Go: A Story of Love, Life, & Loss, inspired by his wife’s cancer journey. The book, along with his workshops and keynotes, invites audiences to lead with presence, compassion, and intentionality. Central to his work is The Clarity Filter, a leadership tool rooted in empathy, reflection, strategic thinking, and thoughtful action—skills Patrick believes are essential for meaningful leadership in both life and work.
