Recently retired after 40 years at 3M having held several positions in both technical (Automotive, Industrial adhesives & tapes, Corporate R&D, Aircraft Interiors) and technical management. 4 years in automotive, 12 years in Adhesives Research including Intl Experience, 17 years in aerospace. Recently 7 years in automation. Chaired 3M Internal professional organization (Tech Forum), led several 3M technology steering committees, conducted lab management, provided project & team leadership, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified and new business development. Currently determining what is next after building a strong understanding of elements of automation, end effectors in application of adhesives, tapes and film. Experienced in aircraft Interior Manufacturing & Material needs including Cabin Fire Safety, lower weight and faster rate of Mfg. Corporate Expert for Fire Resistant materials. This includes customer interactions, regulatory body interactions, cross functional leadership, product & application development.
