About Patrik Kovacs

Dr. Patrik Kovacs is an international businessman, investor and economic diplomat, globally active in international business development and policy affairs. His multicontinental entrepreneurial interests range from business development and M&A, to energy and raw materials. He is Co-President of the Confederation of Hungarian Business (VOSZ) which is one of the largest business organizations in Hungary and he is also the founder and President of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Hungary (FIVOSZ), which has contributed to the creation of 1322 new companies in the past decade. As one of the most appreciated and demanded expert in the field of SME development and youth entrepreneurship development, he has drafted and advised many successful programs on national, EU, and global level. Following his presidency, he is now Honorary President of JEUNE - The Young Entrepreneurs Organization of the EU and a member of several boards of international business organizations with active involvement in World Economic Forum and EuCham - European Chamber. He is a Global Advisor of the Global Entrepreneurship Network and has served as an Ambassador of European Commission and OECD programs. Dr. Kovacs actively participates in the B20 – the Global Business Forum of the G20 – contributing as a member of various B20 task forces since 2020. In 2018, he was appointed Vice President, and since 2020, he is the President of the SME and Entrepreneurship Committee at Business at OECD (the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD), where he contributes to shaping policies that foster economic growth and development across OECD countries representing 65% of global GDP.
