About Patti Walsh
I am the Development Director for The Cedar Cultural Center, a wonderful nonprofit music venue in Minneapolis. I am awestruck at how perfect this position is for me; marrying my love of music and my fundraising and grants management chops. I was previously the development director for CAIR-Minnesota, a nonprofit civil rights organization advocating on behalf of the Minnesota Muslim Community. I held that position for six years. I have been volunteering with community radio station KFAI, Fresh Air Radio, since 1986 and have hosted 3 programs over the years as well as serving on its board in the role of board chair. I haunt the airwaves occasionally on the late night frequencies during safe harbor hours. When I’m not bringing in funding or assaulting peoples’ earbuds I am an artist - I work in visual arts in acrylic paints both in abstract and representational realms.
