About Paul Adams

A chartered and Ph.D qualified environmental scientist with 18 years industry experience in the contaminated land remediation and consultancy sectors. I am employed as a technical specialist at Keltbray. I have 9 years experience in environmental consultancy having worked as a Principal Consultant for Leap Environmental (2015-22) and a Senior Consultant for Atkins (2015) and Parsons Brinckerhoff (2013-15). I have a further 9 years experience in contractual remediation in my current role and previously having worked for QDS Environmental Ltd (an insitu remediation specialist organisation) from 2006-2012. I studied for 2 degrees in microbiology (B.Sc)/ environmental biotechnology (Ph.D) related subjects from I have considerable experience in almost every stage of the contaminated land risk assessment and remediation process from Desk Studies to Verification Reports and planning condition discharge. Knowledge and skills in the following disciplines: • SI design and implementation Soils excavation and ex-situ biopiling Project management • Site supervision during all stages of the phase II and process • Client liaison, data analysis and communication and technical report writing and technical review Production of of technical reports across the entire contaminated land assessment, remediation and verification process • Site walkovers, investigations and delineation works • Well installation and groundwater monitoring • Licensing, permitting, regulator liaison, CLO work and waste disposal
