Ambitious, passionate, committed professional with an extensive array of skills, such as an eminently varied and diverse range, an adroit grasp of language and vocabulary, and exceptional composition faculties. These skills are applicable to a multitude of fields, including but not limited to: editorial, research, copywriting and copy editing, ghostwriting, content creation and strategy, branding, marketing, corporate communications, and tutoring and academic consultation. Able to quickly learn the nuances of any role, meet and exceed expectations, and engender original concepts. Extracurricular activities include volunteering as a Team Leader with New York Cares (teaching guitar and SAT prep)—and all things Classically trained percussionist and multi-instrumentalist with over 20 years' experience. In early 2011, composed, recorded, and co-produced a full-length concept album; in addition to playing most of the instruments on the record, organized a massive collaborative effort—involving musicians from the New School, Berklee School of Music, and the New York- and Boston-metro-area music scenes—in order to complete the album's instrumentation and vocals (including a gospel choir). Played everywhere from Carnegie Hall to college basements. In October 2015, sold out Times Square's PlayStation Theater with world-renowned DJ—who, that December, flew me down to Florida to play a sold-out New Year's Eve show at Miami's W Hotel. Extensive work in music journalism, effectively blending both my primary skill sets.
