I am a senior executive leading the development and execution of the multi-year technology strategy for the Fund Services and Enterprise Investment Services Organizations. In past senior executive roles, I have: Developed and executed an enterprise strategy that enables Vanguard to recover from events that could compromise infrastructure and data. Led the global transformation of Vanguard’s Fund Financial Services group through the use of new technology and service provider solutions, yielding savings of $1B over 10 years. Led a cross functional team that transformed the services offered by the retail division through the application of digital technologies, robotic process automation, and internally developed solutions. Transformed the strategic plan of the securities lending department to yield 10x revenue growth. Led a fund financial services group providing investment operations and fund accounting services to Institutional retirement plan and retail 529 plan clients. Led the startup of a divisional risk and control department to oversee the retail transfer agency and brokerage businesses. I have extended my leadership impact to the broader financial services industry and community through many past and present contributions on various committees and volunteer activities, including: Chairman of Investment Company Institute (ICI) Technology and Efficiency Working Group. Member of ICI Transfer Agent Advisory Committee. Active advisor to Widener University School of Management, Economics, Tax and Finance Committee, and Student Investment Club. Co-developer and adjunct faculty of Widener University personal financial planning curriculum to prepare students to successfully pass the Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law examination.
