About Paul Anstee

What is it you are looking for from an advisor? Some will prefer a more formal approach, whilst others want a more friendly down to earth person who they can share their concerns with (though I’m only qualified to talk about financial matters) I lean towards the latter. The reassurance that you are doing the “right thing” with your financial planning or that maybe you should try a different approach? Not all advisors will come up with the same solution to a situation. That doesn’t mean one is right and one wrong, it’s about what is right for you, understanding what those options are and how YOU feel about them. Risk is a big part of this, especially with what’s going on in the world currently. Understanding the risks involved and the amount of risk you are prepared to take along with weighing up the potential rewards, so that the correct choices are made tailored to your requirements. A bit about me…I spend my spare time walking my dogs, bird watching and spending time with my family. Occasionally hiking up a mountain (my last was Snowdon which I did with both of my sons) and previously Coniston Old Man. I also enjoy sailing my solo dinghy at my local sailing club, and I have just finished reading "Metronome" by Tom Watson which I highly recommend. So why should you talk to me? Well, if you like an open, personable and jargon-free approach (I'll do my best on the last point) then let's talk. Paul
