I am a Lifelong Learner and have experienced various areas of the ELT sector as teacher, materials writer, editor, online and F2F teacher trainer, Academic Manager, School Director & Educational Consultant. I have been involved in Business and Academic Management and Consultancy since 2004 and have provided content and consultancy for Macmillan Education, Cambridge University Press, Pearson, York Press, DELTA, Richmond, Lingoda & Wall Street English. As a Senior Manager of a large Community School for several years I have honed my business and HR skills, become qualified and experienced in online marketing (SEO & SEM) and am able to get the most out of teams while identifying their training and developments needs quickly. My latest article on Academic Management is due to be published in LAMSIG this month. I also tutor on the DOS, IHC, COLT, BET, Customer Service and Business Management courses and apart from being CLIL and YL qualified I also hold the IH COLT and the IH TTC. I very much enjoy helping others to develop and bring out the best in themselves. When I can I enjoy a good walk in the hills, looking after my rooftop vegetable garden and learning from my teenage children.
