Experienced risk management professional with capabilities managing diverse risk types at the enterprise and organizational level including credit risk, operational risk, market and liquidity risk, information security, business continuity, compliance, and others. I am a self-starter and passionate with highly developed leadership ability, I have pioneered the implementation of many global risk management practices in the Nigerian market such as Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP), Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP), Basel standards, online risk/performance reporting and led the full implementation of end-to-end credit origination and management application, with web reporting inclusive of early warning alerts, etc. I am a seasoned banker with the extensive technical experience I played a significant role in the three major mergers in Nigeria. That is UBA/STB, Access bank/Intercontinental bank, and Access bank/Diamond bank, I also led the organization of the IFRS conference in 2010 that provided the compelling case for Nigeria to adopt IFRS International Accounting Standards. I have been the Program manager for risk, compliance, and finance for over 12 years, I also facilitate training for the Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and Financial Institutions Training Center (FITC), etc.
