About Paul Barker

I have a passion and proficiency for the execution and implementation of strategy. Two things I've come to realise- Frameworks are great servants but terrible masters. The magic is in the values and principles - the framework simply puts these values and principles into a consumable format- People do business. We can talk about frameworks, methodologies and mental models - but if people aren't enabled and empowered, they will result in nothing. We work with leaders who are passionate about growth - of their business, and of their teams. As Step Advisory, we help business leaders grow their businesses. We do this by informing choices, catalysing strategy, and accelerating growth. Since inception, our purpose has been to help grow significant businesses and serve their leaders; by developing insightful, well-researched, and informed growth strategies, and helping them achieve tangible outcomes through effective execution.
