With over 30 years experience in careers work in England and Northern Ireland, I offer an independent careers service for young adults. My advice is impartial and realistic, to allow my clients to make informed choices. Sometimes it’s worth having advice that is specifically tailored to your needs. Depending on your needs, I can offer clients: Careers Guidance - This would be a one hour consultation that will have clear and achievable steps to help you realise your goal. The consultation can be undertaken face to face or via Skype. My service is bespoke to ensure that I respond to your specific needs. This could include: Identifying the right educational and/or vocational routes Making informed choices with regard to GCSE or Post 16 or Post 18 routes Applying to university Exploring alternatives to university University applications - Choosing the right course at the right university is possibly one of the important decisions you can make. Getting on to your preferred course can be competitive and going to university can be expensive. Therefore it is vital that you are going to university for the right reasons. I will help clients choose a course and university that can help them maximise their future career potential. I will help you make an application that plays to your strengths and gives you stand out. While you may already have received advice at school, that advice may be limited. Also, if you are an applicant outside of school the entire application process can seem somewhat daunting.
