As a District Manager for KFC I had total Profit and Loss accountability for up to 13 restaurants with over $10 million in annual sales. Working in Louisville, KY for over 3 years allowed me to develop my classroom training and presentation skills. I was key in developing a “team” approach to staffing, training and developing of store level management by working with and mentoring new District Managers in Louisville and Indianapolis. Working in Louisville, KY allowed me to work with support functions both at the regional and national level to meet company goals for customer service, employee retention and store profitability. As a Director for Toys R Us I had total Profit and Loss ownership for several retail store locations. I was responsible for the motivating, training and development of all direct reports to ensure that the location was achieving the company desired results. I reduced turnover in each location by improving moral and ensuring those team members had career paths consistent with their skills and desires. I also was responsible for working with my District Manager to interview, train and evaluate external hires to integrate them into the district leadership team. During a “stretch assignment” in the holiday of 2003 I had total accountability for 2 retail locations during the peak business season. I was responsible for visiting and following up with 2 outlying locations during the spring of 2006 to ensure that they were operating up to company standards and develop plans to address any issues. I have a diverse management background and passion for excellence. I have excellent customer service and people skills as well as written and communication skills.
