About Paul Blakeman

I have a keen interest in Generative AI and LLM potential. I have been an accountant since September 2014, with experience in audit, tax compliance and advisory. I have worked at a number of firms, including PwC, where I am currently a Senior Associate in the Corporate Tax Compliance team. In my current role, I am responsible for a wide range of corporate tax compliance tasks, including the preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns, the calculation and management of tax accounting (current and deferred), and the management of the compliance process for my portfolio of clients. I also coach and develop junior members of staff and deliver training. In addition to my current role, I have experience in a number of other tax compliance and advisory areas, including R&D claims, M&A, due diligence, and other services. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and I am committed to providing my clients with the highest quality of service. I am passionate about developing and I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to improve my skills. I am a team player and I am always stepping outside of my role/task to look at the big picture and analysing ways to get my job done better, and help business processes run more efficiently. I am also a strong communicator and I am able to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise way.
