About Paul Bohlender

During my time in Kiruna (Sweden) I logged cores geotechnically and geologically. While I was in charge of a drill campaign, I was able to demonstrate my skills in logging, resilience, logistics, team management, reporting, communication and forward-thinking planning. The time was very instructive and, together with the arctic conditions, unique. I am looking forward to further developing my skills and supporting your company with my competences. I have been involved a lot with 3D modeling, data acquisition and maintenance, and field geology during my master's time and am looking forward to new opportunities to learn new things. My studies in Economic Geology allowed me to get in touch with the whole range of geosciences. I particularly liked the topics of 3D/2D data visualization, geotechnics, petrology, geophysics and the many excursions. Since 2015, I have been working independently as a photographer, industrial climber and construction worker. My customers already included Lufthansa, Deutsche Bahn and many others. Working at altitude requires physical health and an exact execution of tasks. Beyond that, it is self-evident to pay constant attention to your own safety and that of others. Situations often arises where the job cannot be carried out as planned, so creative solutions are required to get the job done. In 2021, I produced a film together with SEG Student chapter Freiberg, where we were able to take third place in a worldwide competition During my 15-year scout period, I managed a troop of 80 active members, along with weekly group meetings, and planned a 3-week summer camp in Italy.
