A PRINCE2 qualified project manager, events producer, business development manager and fluent Spanish speaker with 20 years’ experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors. I have experience in running campaigns, leading teams, account and budget management and exceeding demanding targets. I have led strategic cross-sector commercial and media partnership and brokered sponsorship agreements involving the Cabinet Office, the European Commission and global brands. I have a proven track record in securing funding from the National Lottery and public and private sector sources. My successes have included: £2 million SRB funding for the regeneration of the Hogarth estate which allowed LB Hounslow to establish children’s play areas and green spaces and improve communal areas and residents homes in a socially excluded area. £2 million SRB funding for Brentford Fountain Centre and Feltham Pools. Heritage Lottery Fund for the restoration of Hogarth House DTI grant funding to support National Construction Week. in cash and value in kind sponsorship from the Evening Standard and Capital Radio to support Millennium Festival projects in London. £1.8 million Millennium Commission Lottery funding for the London New Year’s Eve celebrations which then led to the event becoming an annual celebration. Project managing and promoting the London Millennium Festival Fund which attracted £6.8m funding from the lottery distributors for projects across Greater London. £1m in private sector sponsorship for projects as diverse as the Transforming Public Services EU eGovernment Summit, SkillCity and Canada Day. special project funding from the City Bridge Trust and Communities and Local Government for the Big Opportunity Olympics project.
