Paul advises a wide variety of clients with an interest in building and engineering projects including lenders, funds, developers, construction companies, house builders, fit-out specialists, engineering companies, professionals, owners, and occupiers (both domestic and commercial). Paul's clients operate in a variety of sectors including leisure, hotels, office, retail, health, charities, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, utilities, public works and residential. Paul's practice is both non-contentious and contentious. Paul's non-contentious practice began in 1998. He provides strategic advice for building and engineering projects, and drafts and negotiates the full range of project documentation. Paul's contentious practice began in 1996. He has worked on a number of complex and high profile construction and engineering disputes, and regularly acts for parties in adjudications, mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court and the Court of Appeal.
