About Paul Broadhurst

Having supported the Manchester City Football Club's matchday operation within the control room on a casual basis from Jan 2021, I joined the club on a full time basis in May 2023 as the Safety and Security Manager for the CFG Headquarters and Academy. A role which also includes performing the duties of Safety Officer for all WSL, UWCL & EDS games played in the JOIE stadium. Prior to this current position, I had completed 30 years of Police service in Oct 2017 and during my last few years as a Detective Inspector I was responsible for managing complex incidents and investigations within the arena of safeguarding adults and children from threat, risk and harm. On leaving the Police, working independently I supported a FTSE 100 company with a short term fraud investigation before moving to Cheshire East Council delivering Adult Safeguarding training courses and working in partnership to promote community safety.
