About Paul Brophy

I am an Institutional Fixed Income Sales and Sales Trader at BNY. I have strong skills in economic analysis, research, and financial analysis, as well as a deep knowledge of the fixed income markets and their dynamics. My mission is to provide the best service and execution to our clients, leveraging our hybrid service model of principal trading via our US broker dealer and agency / matched principal execution. This allows us to offer access to deep pools of liquidity and create operational efficiencies for BNY clients, while delivering competitive pricing and transparency. I also contribute to the improvement of our service delivery through innovating and re-engineering our processes, systems, and workflows. I have experience in trade modelling and reporting, operational workflow modelling and infrastructure design, derivative valuation, and waterfall preparation. I enjoy problem solving, analytical and critical thinking, and project management. My passion is working with people, I thrive in a collaborative environment which involves developing successful relationships with both internal and external partners.
