I have always been interested in many things - most consistently math, science, real estate, and construction - and "do much better when busy" according to my Mom. I savor the "under-dog" role, being doubted motivates me, I love being challenged, and I hate to lose. I am an open book and wear my heart on my sleeve. If I have an idea, you are going to hear about it, and if you aren't interested, no problem, I'll do it on my own. I am an emergency department physician because it allows me to do a little of all the medical specialties in an always-changing, fast-paced environment perfect for someone with ADHD. I have always wanted to impact medicine by championing the people providing the care, because of my belief this was the best way to improve care for the patients. I understand the "industrial-medical complex" is too big to change. I am blessed to have other interests and talents, and as my career in medicine grew, so did my hobby businesses. As I watched myself and others around me working more to be able to spend more money, I realigned my goals to growing wealth, a true balance of financial and personal satisfaction. I realized that my hobbies were different than most other peoples' because mine were financially profitable investments of my time that I enjoyed doing, while giving me the flexibility for personal satisfaction via family and health. People and things in general have changed a lot lately, including medicine, forever. Its very hard for me to feel and see the burnout amongst acute-specialty medical providers and know I can't fix the failing system to help them and the patients. Luckily, I have found I can help, by using my other talents to help people realign their goals and start growing wealth. Wide-open, full-throttle, 24/7/365, LFG!
