Don't kid yourself that alcohol is helping you. It's not! The universe has been around for nearly 14 billion years and we get about 80 years on this planet. if we are lucky! So, relatively speaking, as human beings we have very little time. Yet we waste so much of our one precious life frittering away time, money and health on booze! In the UK, around 24% of adults regularly drink over the Chief Medical Officer’s low-risk guidelines and 27% of drinkers binge drink on their heaviest drinking days. And I used to be one of them! I used to be you. A classic middle lane drinker. A 40+ professional, wanting to change their relationship with alcohol. And like you, I was tired of feeling tired, fed-up feeling fed up, stuck in a rut not knowing how to ’lose the booze’. I’m still a 40+ professional but now something is different. Now I’ve lost the booze! I am four years alcohol free (AF) and I couldn’t be more excited about the future. These days I: • Am more productive • Have more clarity, so I make better decisions • Sleep better • Eat better • Am as fit as I ever have been (resting heart rate of <50 bpm) • Have improved my relationships • Am more present and mindful In short, I have changed my life for the better! With the extra time, money, energy, and confidence from losing the booze, I have finally had the courage to start my own coaching business after achieving a distinction in my ICF approved Diploma in Positive Coaching. You see! You don’t lose anything but gain everything! And I’m not going to be selfish and keep all this POSITIVITY to myself.
