About Paul Cassutt
A graduate from Purdue University’s School of Materials Science Engineering in May 2017, I now work as a Senior Project Engineer at IBC Materials & Technologies in Lebanon, IN. Since joining in May 2018, my work has evolved to include managing projects ranging from multi-year US military-funded Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programs to small scale jobs for commercial customers. The engineering work for these projects largely focus on evaluating the numerous surface treatments and coatings IBC offers as compared to baseline legacy coatings, as well as failure analysis and coating development. Successful evaluation of the tribological, compositional, and mechanical properties of a coating has required my development and implementation of new test equipment and methodologies for IBC on several occasions.
