About Paul Chambers

Paul Chambers is a Master Electrician with a passion for the renewable energy field. He holds a Bachelors of Education from McGill University and has taught apprentices and journeymen electricians at both Algonquin College and IBEW local 582. He has also taught off grid solar at Seneca College in Toronto. He is a Construction Health and Safety Officer, Photovoltaic Systems Instructor and has held a fire alarm electrician license. Competitive sports are also a passion for Paul. Winning the Vanier Cup in 1987 with the McGill Redmen and winning Gold, Silver and Bronze for Canada at three consecutive World Ultimate Championships are accomplishments in which he takes great pride. As Solar energy moves to the forefront of the industry, Paul built on his passion to first be Pure Energies’ Master Electrician and Project Manager and then NRG Home Solar's Master Electrician and Operations and Maintenance Manager for Canada. Paul has now left NRG to start his own electrical contracting company providing O&M to many clients such as NRG Home Solar in Canada.
