A Senior Analyst/Programmer with over 35 years experience, specialising in IBM mid-range computers using RPG, RPG Free format, RPG ILE, SQL and SYNON. Experienced in Warehouse Management and distribution, Retail, Banking (including credit cards), Insurance, House building, Pharmaceuticals and production environments. I have been involved in many projects requiring interfacing to web servers with both outgoing and incoming data. I am comfortable working in support or on project work. I have experience leading teams (technical level) in UK, USA and off-shore and have led both development and test teams. I can derive Technical specifications from Business Functional specifications and have a good rapport with users from Directors to shop floor level. I am adaptable, reliable, inquisitive and dedicated. I enjoy learning and try to keep my skills as current as possible. I am always looking for a position which is challenging and interesting which can give me a sense of satisfaction when I have achieved the necessary outcome.
