manufacturing #governance #export #advancedmanufacturing #internationalbusiness Paul Cooper is a company director and non-executive director with more than 30 years of experience in board positions in Government, Manufacturing, Education, Professional Associations, Health, and Accounting in Australia and internationally. Paul has invested in and built several businesses and successfully exited those through trade sales within the industry or to public companies. As a non-executive director Paul has a deep understanding of governance practices on boards and as chair of Audit & Risk Committees and other governance committees. Paul is a Fellow and Life Member of CPA Australia (FCPA), and Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) from the Taxation Institute of Australia. Paul is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Paul was the Queensland Divisional President of CPA Australia in 2004/5. Following two terms on the board of CPA Australia, Paul retired from the board and was awarded a President's Award and later a Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2024 Paul was honoured by the Board of CPA Australia with the highest status in CPA Australia, Life Membership.
