About Paul Cousins

Many years experience of application support, maintenance and development from the days of ICL Mainframes and SCL/Cobol/IDMSX to the present Windows/Linux platforms and the various scripting/programming languages and database systems that run on them. Recent specific experience includes Classic ASP maintenance and enhancement, MSSQL (2012, 2016)- SSRS (Native) implementation and development; SSIS development, IIS, Active Directory, MS Servers, SQLite, Spiceworks Helpdesk and Inventory package implementation and support, Sage200 support, and various other odds and sods! I seem to have an affinity with code - whatever the language - and prefer to be at the 'sharp' end dealing with the challenges and opportunities that brings, rather than climbing a management tree taking me away from it. However, that said, I do see myself in a 'Technical Management' role - managing databases, codebases and all things related.(A word to recruiters - if I haven't spoken to you, please do not send me a connection request - it will be ignored.
