Background

About Paul Crowe

I architect and secure cloud infrastructure for an organisation in higher education, spanning Azure, AWS, Google Workspace, and on-prem hybrid environments. My current focus areas include driving enterprise AI adoption (M365 Copilot deployment, AI usage monitoring), building security operations around CrowdStrike EDR/NG-SIEM, and managing the transition to modern hybrid infrastructure through Azure Arc, Update Manager, and zero-trust principles. What I bring: the rare combination of hands-on engineering depth (Linux, containerisation, automation) with architecture-level thinking and certifications to back it up — including Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert and Azure AI Engineer Associate. I'm passionate about using data and automation to make security and infrastructure decisions evidence-based rather than reactive.
