About Paul D. Cuthbert

Paul Cuthbert, BSc, MEd, CCD is a highly skilled and experienced senior administrator and consultant with over 40 years of experience in education. Paul established Cuthbert Consulting after his retirement as Superintendent/CEO of Evergreen School Division. He provides consulting services for school divisions and other organizations. His areas of expertise include governance, policy, planning, leadership development and education administration. Paul served as the Mentor for new superintendents for the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents from 2015-2020. Paul has served in an advisory or governance capacity with many provincial, national and international organizations. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Learning for a Sustainable Future, Vice Chair of the Board of Access Credit Union and a Director on the Board of Credit Union Central of Manitoba. Paul served for 10 years as a member of the Advisory Council for EdCan (formerly CEA) and 5 years as an education partner in the Education Research Development Institute (ERDI) until his retirement as a Superintendent. He is a former member of the Manitoba Education for Sustainable Development Leadership Team and Western Canadian project co-lead for the New Pedagogies for Deep Learning research project. Paul is also a former president of the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents. Paul is committed to education for sustainability and the continuous improvement of our public education system to meet the needs of today’s learners and society.
