About Paul Davidson

From an early age i had a clear interest in all things technical and mechanical which all started with the initial love of Lego and the joy in following the provided clear and concise instructions. This technical/mechanical love followed me throughout my school years to the point when i "needed to get a job" according to my mother, at that point when i started my apprenticeship in light vehicle service and maintenance. Following the completion of my apprenticeship the draw of the Aberdeen offshore oil and gas industry was an itch that needed scratched. Expro gave me the opportunity to scratch that itch and its once i'm still scratching to this day. For nearly 20 years in the oil and gas industry i have applied my ever developing skill set to the high pressure oil and gas environment offshore, operations supervision, direct offshore operations supervision and sales point of contact for multiple clients over multiple projects/contracts. I love the high pressure environment of the oil and gas industry which seems to get the best out of me and give me the personnel drive the deliver at what i hope is an excellent standard. I have a busy home life running after 2 young children, keeping my lovely wife as happy as possible (hard task) and finding time for myself to either get out on the track bike, mountain bike, snowboard or plan/tackle the next home DIY project. In full circle my 2 young boy both now have the same love of Lego which lets me relive my childhood nearly ever day with the added bonus of both also taking pride in following the provided instructions keeping my subtle OCD triggers at bay. i could go on and on but i want to know what you have to say.
