About Paul Debevec

I've always been driven by the idea of creating technology that shapes the future. I like to imagine what my kids or grandkids may need in 40-50 years and how I can contribute to that vision today. This curiosity has led me to explore diverse fields—from farming and security to tech support and international missions work in Mexico and Cambodia. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for identifying the unique needs of people across different backgrounds and envisioning technological solutions to support them. That mindset led me to Turing, where I became a software engineer to contribute to the ever-evolving world of technology. Since then, I’ve worked on projects ranging from operational satellite systems at Maxar Technologies to insurance tech solutions at Kin Insurance. My expertise spans Python, Golang, Ruby on Rails, Flask, PostgreSQL, AWS, and more, allowing me to build robust, scalable software that makes an impact. I’m passionate about solving real-world problems with technology—whether that means improving everyday tools or developing innovations that will benefit future generations.
