About Paul Decunzo

I was a passionate College Prep Chemistry teacher and Golf Coach for 26 years. I loved to engage and guide my students and players but was always inefficient grading and lesson planning. In 2009 my supervisor sent me to a Franklin-Covey Time Management Workshop to become more efficient. At that workshop we did a visioning exercise and I saw myself becoming a full time Coach in 5 years. During my Masters in Science Education Cohort, we discovered and shared our Gallup Strengthsfinder results. While planning our first semester final project, I suggested to my colleagues we each choose the parts we do best leveraging our Strengths. We ended up getting the highest grade the professor EVER gave on a project. The following Summer, I did my best teaching ever- a whole year of Chemistry in 5 weeks in a Summer Academic Enrichment Program at the University. In the Fall 2013, the Universe separated me from the classroom suddenly within 6 months I began my full time coaching journey. Are you frustrated or burnt-out?
