About Paul Dobberstein

Specialist in Change and Career Development Change is all; about us. I have managed change as an Intentional Interim Pastor, a Human Services Caseworker, and in libraries. My management has brought about church change by advising new committees in reconciliation, new worship forms, and constitutional revision. I have also collaborated with lay leaders on outreach and other workshops for congregations. Career Development for underserved groups is my passion. I have also studied neighborhood change through critical thinking and metacognitive teaching methodology. I am committed to student-centered and active learning. I earned a Specialist in Education in Leadership for Social Change in Education degree in 2018. My new position is Supported Employment Specialist for Thresholds, Chicago. This position supports change for mentally ill persons by assisting them in finding employment and will begin May 24.2021. My goal is to teach or administer career development at a college or university.
