I am a qualified accountant (ACCA) and internal audit professional (CIA) with extensive international financial services, investment banking and insurance experience. Currently Group Head of Internal Audit (PCF 13) for FBD Insurance plc. I provide strategic insights and effective assurance to executive management, directors and boards and great advice on making strategic improvements. Pragmatic, confident and discreet, I work effectively with audit committees, the board risk committee and have extensive experience of working positively with audit committee chairs and members. I have regular and positive interaction with regulators. I have significant experience of leading teams, including overseas based team members, in large multinational environments. I have worked through all stages of business cycles including challenging turn-around and business transformation phases as well as growth and acquisition stages.
