About Paul Estby
Master Sound Technician at the Guthrie since July three years before that as Audio Systems Tech for Indiana Repertory Theatre while also working for a regional sound and production company in Detroit. I have consulted on systems for a number of church organizations as well as local bands and theaters. Consulted on the new systems for the new Guthrie. My main priorities are to keep the audio systems for each of our three performance spaces, recording studio, and lobby/back of house areas running efficiently, to track our team of technicians and overhires in order to provided them with the support and training they require, and to facilitate and implement new technologies as they fit our purposes. I am also tasked with special projects that require out of the ordinary solutions. I have been an audio instructor for IATSE Local 13. I have captured audio for documentary and film projects.
