About Paul Flavel

If asked to describe myself in once sentence: I'm a dad, husband, educator, marketing professional, strategic storyteller, and a music appreciator. But most of you want to know about my professional experience so please read on. I started my career in the marketing industry where I gained over 13 years of progressive experience. In 2015 I was released back to the market, which is a clever way of saying I was part of a corporate restructure. Based on my skills and experience I started down a new career path and moved into the real estate industry. It was an exciting change that introduced me to a whole network of excellent people. However, I had always wanted to teach and an opportunity arrived that I couldn't pass up. A faculty position with the School of Business at Saskatchewan Polytechnic opened up and I finally got the opportunity to teach! I'm an experienced leader with a variety of work and life experiences that have shaped my authentic leadership style. My strengths are building trustworthy relationships and managing expectations. I believe achieving great outcomes is a result of hard work and fun.
