About Paul Gauss

Seit meiner Dissertation im Bereich der Polymerchemie an der TU Wien arbeite ich bei GENERA als Projektmanager im Bereich Materialvalidierung und unterstütze ich (potentielle) Kunden bei der Implementierung von 3D Druck in ihre Produktionsumgebung. Zu meinen Aufgaben gehören einerseits Materialscouting, Entwicklung und Validierung von neuen Materialen auf unserem System zusammen mit unseren Laboranten. Andererseits Benchmarking und Evaluierung von Kundenbauteilen und die Umsetzung von Projekten auf den GENERA Maschinensystemen. Ein umfangreiches Wissen zu additiven und konventionellen Fertigungsmethoden, Materialwissenschaft und Industrieprozessen hilft mir hier individuelle Lösungen zu finden. Since my dissertation in the field of polymer chemistry at the Vienna University of Technology, I have been working at GENERA as a project manager in the field of material validation and support (potential) customers in implementing 3D printing in their production environment. My tasks include on the one hand material scouting, development and validation of new materials on our system together with our lab technicians. On the other hand, benchmarking and evaluation of customer parts and implementation of projects on GENERA machine systems. An extensive knowledge of additive and conventional manufacturing methods, material science and industrial processes helps me to find individual solutions.
