About Paul Gebhardt

After graduating from high school like many I had no idea what I wanted to do. I decided to go on a small adventure and join the United States Marine Corps. Serving in the Marines was truly an honor and exposed me to many experiences that helped mold me into the man I am today. After four years in the military I was motivated to accomplish a life goal of mine, college. Growing up yelling "we are Penn State" at football games made my college of choice easy to decide. As I entered my freshmen year at Penn State, I knew I wanted to study business but was not sure what area my passion truly was. That all changed my junior year at Penn State. Taking a finance course opened my mind in how I view money. Prior to learning about stocks and different investing strategies to raise capital gains, I thought putting money in a savings account was the best way to plan for the future. Watching my parents live though the Great Recession instilled in me the importance of personal finance. But I was not aware of how passionate I was about it. After completing my finance course I found myself still researching more information on how to make money work for you. With some research under my belt and a bit of courage I dove into the stock market. Since then I have continued to grow and learn from my experiences in dealing with my own finances and love to share my knowledge with others so they can achieve their financial goals. Though I can not predict the future, I know finances is where my passion lies. I can not wait to see where this passion takes me.
