About Paul Goldwin

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 whilst at Neville Russell (now Mazars). During my time there, I managed a portfolio of insurance sector clients, particularly Lloyd’s of London insurance brokers and underwriting agents, including two fully listed insurance broking groups. My other responsibilities included being a ‘Hot Reviewer’ on all Lloyd’s of London and IBRC assignments as well as lecturing (both internally and externally). Additionally I was involved in many ‘special assignments‘ including assisting with the winding down of the Spanish subsidiary of a major UK insurer in provisional liquidation and various Equitas related projects. In 1996 I joined LMG Accountants (formerly Linn Maggs & Co.) and became a partner in 1997. During this time I specialised in advising insurance intermediaries and their owners. I joined PKF Littlejohn in December 2013 and work as a partner in the financial services division and a member of the broking team, specialising in the insurance sector, and brokers in particular. I also advise the payment services industry and act for many Spanish and Latin American companies in this sector. Born in Gibraltar, I am a fluent Spanish speaker and an active member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in London. I act for a large number of Spanish companies operating in the UK.
