About Paul Goranson

I have nearly 38 years of experience in minerals extraction industry principally in the uranium recovery sector. For most of my career, I have been leading uranium production operations that use in situ recovery (ISR) processes, and I have managed conventional uranium mining and milling operations. Over the span of my career, I have been involved in every aspect of the uranium industry, ranging from exploration, field operations, project execution, production, reclamation, and closure. I have served in senior executive roles in several public and private corporations, and I have demonstrated performance in managing large organizations, financing large acquisitions, successful and profitable execution of corporate strategies. I have served as a member of the Board of Directors of two publicly traded uranium companies. I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to negotiate, execute, and deliver into several uranium off-take agreements with several nuclear utilities and other third parties for both spot and long-term agreements. I have also had the opportunity to negotiate mineral and surface lease agreements with private landowners that have resulted in access to significant uranium mineral resources. I have worked with industry colleagues to work on issues, such as trade and regulatory policies, that are important to the uranium industry in the U.S. in a highly collaborative manner. Through that work, I have been able serve in the leadership of several trade associations, such as the Past President of the Uranium Producers of America and the Past President of the Wyoming Mining Association. I also have served on several trade association and community boards of directors. I am a Registered Professional Engineer, and I am a Certified Director by the NACD. I am a "Qualified Person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and Regulation S-K 1300.
