Experienced technical product owner, with extensive knowledge of UX and agile software development. I love being the bridge between the business, development, and design functions. My mission is to ensure high-quality deliveries which delight customers and fulfil every business objective. I have successfully steered teams to ship B2B software products to 50+ satisfied customers, and have had the privilege of managing talented engineering teams and individuals for 10+ years. Proficient in Scrum and other agile methodologies, I have enjoyed facilitating planning meetings, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups for many years. In my previous Product Owner role I became known across the organisation as the go-to person for user experience consultation and acceptance testing. I was trusted as product evangelist to customers, partners, and potential clients, both in 1-2-1 meetings and on a large stage- Project management skills: JIRA, Google Analytics, SQL, Rally, Trello, BaseCamp, GitHub. Communications skills: proof reading, technical writing, public speaking. User-centred design skills: usability testing facilitation, user experience expert review, persona definition, wire-framing with Balsamiq. Agile development skills: Scrum master, Kanban, sprint planning and retrospective facilitation.
