Experienced Safety Supervisor with a background in heavy-civil and industrial construction. Additional HSE experienced in health-care, government services and commercial stevedoring and marine Throughout my career I have been a member of, and have lead HSE teams on a number of large scale projects which have achieved excellent levels of success. I have honed my skills on some of the largest projects in the country and have learned from top level management and safety teams. Career highlights include- Zero lost-time injuries and zero-recordable injuries over a 14 month period on the Long Harbour Processing Plant construction project. Peak work force of approx. 225 workers- Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) of 0.172 on the Kearl Expansion Project (including no LTIs over an 8 month period as Site Safety Lead / Assistant Safety I have a solid educational background, highlighted by a Post-Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management from the University of Western Ontario Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Quality Management from the Fisheries and Marine Institute (MUN) and a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am constantly striving to improve both by experience and education to become a more knowledgeable and refined safety professional and leader.
