About Paul Hellmuth

Personal Profile: Finance Director with extensive commercial, charitable, private and public sector Board level experience. I am both a tactical and strategic accountant whilst ensuring fiscal regularity. Highly systems literate with strong people management and have had leadership responsibility for support functions (including HR & IT). I am also a hands on accountant and content to “roll my sleeves up” to achieve objectives. Previous FD positions have included a £120m turnover commercial business (with 30 staff), a public sector body responsible for processing £22m in professional fees, and a membership driven not for profit business with members. My initial interim position had ultimate responsibility for Finance and Support Services in a membership driven not for profit business members). One of my previous roles enhanced my ability to professionally close down a government organisation. With my breadth of experience and organisational focus I am confident in being able to add value in an FD capacity in any sector or organisation. I am experienced in change and programme management using tools such as Prince II. I have carried out the start up, restructuring and closure of small and major organisations. I have managed both internal and external Auditors at a senior level and I have worked with the National Audit Office. I have latterly undertaken interim assignments but am equally happy to consider permanent or interim to permanent propositions.
